In addition to our Crawl, much is happening in Door County this month.  This upcoming weekend is Columbus Day and Pumpkin Patch in Egg Harbor.  The following weekend is Fall Fest in Sister Bay.  After our Crawl (Oct. 25 and 26) and Halloween, people envision that the sidewalks roll and the the County closes.

The leaves are gone, but the beauty is still here, only different.  Winter could be my favorite time of year because of the silences in the mornings and the changes in light.

It’s true, some stores close, some hotels are also.  Some are open on weekends and their hours are shortened. But then, there are those of use who are year round artists, always working and always open.  Our gallery is open 10-5 daily until the end of the year.

We have one show this fall: The Madison Ballet hosts the Madison Holiday Market at the Alliant Energy Center Nov 7-9.  Mention this newsletter and get 10% off your purchases that weekend.

The Door County Potter’s Guild (John is a founding member) Show at the Peninsula Art School, Fish Creek opens Nov. 15 with a reception from 5-7. We love this group and the Art School.  Come over and join us.
Our Annual Holiday Open House at Thanksgiving runs Fri. Sat. Sun 10-5.  Refreshments, specials, a drawing for a beautiful piece of pottery, ornaments, etc.
Finally, get your Christmas orders in by Nov. 1 and we can guarantee delivery by Christmas.  We need at least 6 weeks to get a firing done, and we do have some early orders on our list.
