December is dark

and I like it that way.

Sunshine makes me want to get up and do something: dust or garden 0r sweep or hang laundry.

Winter is more reflective.  There is time and space to think.  Too cold to go out and work, I find sitting with tea is more productive.  We are always busy in the studio in the winter, catching up on orders before Christmas.  Building inventory in January.

Soup, chili, hot tea, fast walks and long, long talks about art and pottery and naps.  Winter is good for us, and for you, we suspect.
