Tea for Two—all about TEA-It’s National Tea Month this January. What Tea do you like?

Tea.

It’s what’s hot this month.

Afternoons find me sipping black tea.  Evening’s it might be peppermint, or chamomile.

One of my old standards is Oolong tea, the smokey flavor just transports me.  I love Darjeeling, also.

What kind of tea do you like?  And when do you sip your hot tea?

In a pottery mug? Teacup? Tea bowl? Glass mug? There’s alot to be said for each choice.

  1. My husband loves English Breakfast, Darjeeling & Rooibos teas. I prefer Genmaicha (or almost any green, really) and good ol’ ceylon black. A spoon of brown sugar and a splash of 1/2 & 1/2 for the black, please. I got his favorite mug from Omega Pottery Shop down in Reeds Spring, MO, back in 2000, I think. My favorite mug came from a potter in Ontario that sells through the outfitter we use when we go to Quetico Provincial Park (Voyageur Wilderness Programme–really great people up there). They are cherished items!

And now I am compelled to go make a pot of tea, too. Perfect for a snowy afternoon!
