Get to Know an Artist – The Clearing Folk School | Ellison Bay Arts

 

The Clearing Folk School’s Jens Jensen Visitor Center and Bookstore Gift Shop will warmly welcome visitors with docent tours and demonstrations of fine crafts and art by The Clearing’s talented volunteers.   The school was founded in 1935 by renowned Danish-born landscape architect Jens Jensen, and is listed on the National and State Register of Historic Places.  The Clearing provides weeklong classes and retreats for adults May through October, plus one-, two- and three-day classes mid-June through mid-November.  Homemade cookies and beverages will be available, as well as catalogs for this year’s program classes.
